Richly decorated walnut frame with arabic inscription: „la illaha illa Allah“ means „There is no God but God“, i.e. there is only one God. This is the first half of the shahada, the Islamic declaration of belief.

Enrique Linares founded the firm within the Alhambra in 1883, together with his brother Abelard. They specialised in architectural models of different interior views of the palace.

A similar item can be found in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
